The Typical Salvadoran...

The typical salvadoran is a very special person. It is characterized by being a hard worker, noisy, an excellent host, helper and also friendly. It's enterprising and courageous. Most salvadoran likes to eat "pupusas" a typical food.

For the other hand, is always late and do the things to the last minute.

Neverless, it's a blessing being salvadoran.

Knowing me...

I'm Patty de López, I'm 32 years all and I'm glad to share my personal information with you.

I'm happy married with Miguel Angel López since december 2001. We don't have kids yet. My parents are alive and I have five brothers.

I have a really busy life but I have learned to enjoy the things and right now I'm still learning not to run to much.

I have differents roles in my life. After having God as the center in my life (honestly is not easy to do it every day), my second role is being a wife, taking care of my home, support my husband as a pastor and be a therapist!

I have a clinic (you can find the link right here in this blog). There work five persons, all teachers and three of us are also psychologists. Our mission is to help parents and kids dealing with their difficulties in order to have a better life.
Our services include differents kind of therapy: emocional, speech, learning desabilities, ADD and ADHD, behavior modification, learning reinforcement and we also give parents schools and teachers train. We attend kids of different schools and our services are in spanish also in english.

This is a big reason why I decided to continue studying english. I really like the language. When I was in school I began learning it in 6th grade and I had problems in my grades because I didn't know as much (in present time kids begin learing english since they are in kindergarten). My mom decide to register me in an english course and she did it eventhoug I didn't want because I said "I hate it". I studied in two differents academys but I never finished because I had classes at weekends also at the university all my eight years os study (clarifying I studied to careers).
The opportunities that I have had for knowing just a little of english had been great.

The fisrt one was to travel to Germany for one year as an Upair were I had the opportunity of learning german (a really difficult language that I have forgott because I don't practice it), knowing another culture and taking care of two beautiful kids. The second opportunity was to work in a small bilingual school in my fisrt years of career, one year as a 5th grade teacher and the second year as a supervisor teacher.
After this I have always need to use the english and I would like to know it better. One of my inpirations in the use of the language is Rocio a friend of mine who teached me how to pronounce the sonund th, sh. Right now an American Company hired her in United States. Of course I'm not talking of working in that company but knowing english better.

Well, this is just a small introduction about me and my experience learning english...
